It was a day of doom and gloom..

Sally the witch, had lost her broom.

It was bright orange with a pink tail.

Her eyes all red, she began to wail

Sally loved to zoom up high,

Watching the moon and star lit sky!

Looking at bright cities below,

Watching soft street lamps glow!

Now broom was gone... did it fly away?

Did it want a holiday?

Did someone steal it? Of course that's it!

Its a sparkly orange and pink broomstick.

Sally searched high and low.

She was puzzled... where could it go.

Inside magic pots, under castle stairs...

Calling for Broom at every square!

There it was outside her door!

With bags of candy from the store...

'Oh yes! its Halloween' she said, ‘Phew!

Lets go Broom! We have work to do.’

She jumped up on broom, candy in hand,

They flew over every river and land,

Dropping candy for trick or treaters,

Scary costumes and candy eaters!
