The Hungry Fox And His Grapes
Trotting down the road,
Came the bright red fox.
Sniffing and smelling…
Behind leaves and rocks.
Grrrr… went his tummy,
“Time to get some food.
Is there something yummy
For this hungry morning mood?”
And there on the vine,
Looking ripe, looking fine…
Purple grapes in a bunch.
“What a perfect lunch!”
Fox jumped in the air,
For the grapes were up high!
He opened his mouth,
But couldn't get a bite.
Many times in vain,
He stretched with a jump.
No grape.. what a pain,
He landed with a thump.
He was tired, he was angry.
No grapes to devour!
He slowly walked away,
“Those grapes must be sour.”
Hey Kids, Do you ever find something too hard to do and feel angry at it? Both 'I'm not good enough' and 'it's not worth it,' are not the best ways to walk away from it. What would your approach be?
